DESEIN BEIZ-TECHNIK PRIVATE LIMITED

was formed in collaboration with a reputed German Company, Beiz-Technik Fur Kfraftwerke GmbH, for chemical cleaning of boilers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, oil pipeline, etc., based on the latest German techniques. A large number of assignments have been successfully completed by this company, in India.

ELEKTRIM INDIA LIMITED

was originally formed in 1990 in collaboration with Elektrim (Poland) for providing services for determination of residual life and rehabilitation of old power plant equipments including modernisation with a view to achieve the designed performance and efficiency. The scope has now been widened to build power stations on turnkey basis with equipments being supplied both from Poland and indigenously.

INDURE LOSCHE LIMITED

The company established in 1990 with Losche GmbH, Germany, who are manufacturers of vertical roller mills for cement and power plants. The company is specialised in hard facing of Rollers and supply of spares for the mills. The company also provides inspection services to Losche India Limited in their manufacturing activities. The clientele includes many of the Cement Plants in the country and outside India.

INDURE LOUISE LIMITED

The company was established in 1990 with Louise Fordertechnik GmbH of Germany for the marketing and supply of high tech Material Handling Equipments such as Rotary Discharge Machines in India.

INDURE WARMAN LIMITED

The company was established in 1992 to manufacture and supply high tech Slurry Pumps in technical and financial collaboration with Warman International Ltd., Australia, who are world leaders in the manufacture of slurry handling pumps. The clientele of the company include NTPC, Indian Rare Earth Ltd., Indian Cement Co. Ltd., etc.

BLACK & VEATCH INTERNATIONAL, USA

CH2MHILL INERNATIONAL, USA

We have reached an understanding with CH2M Hill which is one of the largest players in the water market for doing design and engineering for their projects worldwide. The premise of our relationship is that we will be doing the engineering for their projects worldwide making all the initial investments in terms of infrastructure like computers, man power, communication links, etc. and in return CH2M Hill will provide training to our engineers. For this purpose, CH2M Hill has already taken 14 engineers to US for a period of 3 months. The agreement is for a minimum period of 3 years and 40 engineers. At the end of this period it is CH2M Hill's prerogative to walk away without any liability or renew the agreement at mutually agreed terms.

EPDC INTERNATIONAL, JAPAN

DESEIN is working very closely with EPDCI, Japan, for consultancy services to Coal-Fired as well as Gas based Combined Cycle Power Projects in India and third countries.

SNC SERVICES LIMITED, CANADA

DESEIN is associated with SNC Services Limited, Canada, to have access to the latest technology in the engineering fields of Power and related engineering activities.

TECHNOPROMEXPORT, RUSSIA

DESEIN has association with Technopromexport, Russia, for renovation and modernisation of existing Russian plants in India and technical assistance in the area of contract/project management

UKERINTERENERGO, UKRAINE

DESEIN has association with Ukerinterenergo, a Government Company of Ukraine for handling turnkey execution of Gas based Power Projects. The arrangement with them is that the Main Plant will be supplied by Ukerinterenergo and the Balance of Plant by DESEIN.

BLACK & VEATCH ASSOCIATION

DESEIN has undertaken many projects jointly with Black & Veatch International, who is one of the leading Engineering Consultant and EPC Contractors of U.S.A. DESEIN's association with M/s. Black & Veatch, USA, cover a period of more than two decades.

DESEIN has undertaken the assignment of complete design and engineering of all the major packages (TG, SG, ESP, C&I, Condensate Polishing Plant, Civil & Structurals) of the 500 MW Chandrapur Thermal Power Station Unit No. 7 of Maharashtra State Electricity Board with back up support from BVI. The job was obtained against strict selection criteria of the World Bank. The unit was successfully commissioned and is presently under commercial operation.

DESEIN had also been associated with BVI in the review of Basic Design Memorandum of NTPC's 2x500 MW Farakka Super Thermal Power Project.

DESEIN provided detailed technical support to BVI in the following jobs executed by them for Saudi Arabia:

• Generation optimisation study for Saudi Consolidated Electric Company (Eastern Region), Saudi Arabia.
• Underground Electrical System studies of Industrial and Community areas for Saudi Consolidated Electric Company (Eastern Region), Saudi Arabia.
• c) Unified Operation, Maintenance and Technical Service Manuals for Power Plants of Saudi Consolidated Electric Company, Western Region, Saudi Arabia.

In addition, DESEIN was associated with BVI, in the following jobs:

• Local Engineer for 2x500 MW Coal-Fired Thermal Power Plant of Hinduja National Power Corporation at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
• Local Engineer for 350 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant of STI at Guna.
• Local Engineer for 500 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant of Finolex.

DESEIN was also associated with BVI in handling the consultancy jobs for the 500 MW Tuticorin Thermal Power Plant, 200 MW CCGBPP of Madhya Bharat Power Co. at Khandwa, 500 MW Coal-fired Power Plant for BPL at Ramagundam, 1000 MW Coal-fired Power Plant for Cogentrix at Mangalore, 420 MW Korba Thermal Power Plant of Mukund etc.

Through BVI association, DESEIN has modified most of its technical documentation in line with international practices and thus the quality of DESEIN's technical documentation is now at par with international levels.

DESEIN is also thus exposed to international practices in the design and engineering of Power Stations which have been adopted as required in the projects engineered by them.

ASSOCIATION WITH EPDCI, JAPAN

EPDCI of Japan has long association with DESEIN for the engineering and technical support for many of their jobs in India.

These included the following jobs:

• Review Consultancy Engineering Services for the 2x210 MW Coal-fired Thermal Power Station at Bakreswar in the State of West Bangal, India.
• Review of Design drawings, specifications, evaluation etc for the 270 MW Kathalguri Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant in Assam.
• Review Consultancy Engineering Services for 1x210 MW Coal-fired Bakreswar Thermal Power Plant 3rd Unit of West Bengal.
• Review Consultancy Engineering Services for 2x500 MW Anpara Thermal Power Plant, Units # 4&5 in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
